Welcome to 7th grade Math 

 

I am so excited to start this new school year! I look forward to spending each day with your child and it is my desire to help them enjoy learning about math. Email is actually the best method to contact me.  My school email is johnstona@branson.k12.mo.us.  My planning period is 2nd hour each day.

  • Use Sampling to Draw Inferences About Populations

  • Solve Problems Involving Geometry

 

Computing Grades:

Recorded homework scores will be averaged together and will count as 25% of a student's overall grade. Test scores and quiz scores will be averaged together and will count as 75% of a student's grade. I encourage parents and students alike to check the Parent Portal to stay up-to-date on the student's grade on a daily basis.

 Tutoring:

My classroom will be open for tutoring every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:10 - 7:30am.  This is for students who may be struggling with a concept or are needing extra instruction due to an absence.
